Our Background

Turnout the Vote is run by Relentless and Progressive Turnout Project. It sounds too good to be true to get compensated for talking to your friends and family about voting, but we’ve done it before.

In 2022 and 2023, we powered relational programs across battleground states, in partnership with organizations and campaigns across the ecosystem.

Our team ran our first compensated relational program (friends talking to friends) in Georgia in 2021 for Senator Jon Ossoff. We built a team of 2,888 Georgians who talked to over 160,000 of their friends and family and mobilized them to vote. Senator Ossoff credits that program with winning the race and securing a Democratic majority in the US Senate. Since then, we’ve built teams of ambassadors who have turned out the vote across the country and in elections up and down the ballot. Read about our work in Politico and Wired.

This year, we’re engaging thousands of Voting Ambassadors in five critical battleground states to make sure their communities are exercising their right to vote this November.
