Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (this “Policy”) describes how Rally by Relentless, PBC and its affiliates (“Company”) collects, uses and shares personal information of users of its website, rally.win, and its subdomains (i.e., go.rally.win)(“Rally” or “our website”). This Policy also applies to any of our other websites and apps that post this Policy. 

INFORMATION ABOUT YOU

When you create a Rally account, we collect information about you, including: information to contact you, verify your account, and personalize your Rally experience (for example, greeting you by name and suggesting Campaigns (as defined below) you may be interested in), and information to understand how you are using Rally and how we can make it better.  “Campaigns” are initiatives created by an organization that you can voluntarily join. When you join a Campaign on Rally you agree to share certain information with the organization running that Campaign. Campaigns are initiatives that You can voluntarily join. Campaigns you join will receive the following information about you: Your name, email address, phone numbers, location, survey answers or notes you voluntarily share, information associated with your Voter File; other info available through publicly available sources; when you joined Rally; when you joined the Campaign; and actions you take on behalf of the Campaign.

Info collected through forms that you fill out: Your name, postal address, email, phone number, pronouns, age, and any other information you voluntarily share through surveys, questionnaires, or free-text notes that you may input into our website. 

Info collected automatically: 

  • Information about how you use our website, including traffic data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on Rally.
  • Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.
  • Cookies (or browser cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. Our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to rally.win. Rally.win requires cookies in order to work and if your web-browser has been set to refuse to accept cookies you may be unable to access our website. 
  • Web Beacons. Pages of our website and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity). 

INFORMATION ABOUT PEOPLE YOU KNOW (YOUR CONTACTS)

When you use Rally, you can choose to share information about people you know to facilitate effective relational organizing and achieve progressive goals. We ask for this information so that we can help you identify your Contacts in the public record of registered voters (the Voter File) and identify which Contacts are registered to vote or need to get registered, if they’ve requested a ballot and/or been sent one, if they’ve voted in a current or previous election, and other information to help you effectively organize them to vote or take action.  

RESEARCH

Sometimes we will use data collected on our platform to evaluate Rally’s effect on campaigns and causes, and we may share findings publicly with the goal of improving  progressive campaigns. Sometimes this research will be in collaboration with other organizations. We will not publish findings or individual data points in any way that makes it possible to individually identify you or your contacts, without your explicit consent.

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13

Our products and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 and we do not and will not knowingly collect any information from any individual who is under 13. If you are aware of information about a child under the age of 13 on Rally, please contact us at privacy@rally.win. If we otherwise become aware that information about a child under the age of 13 has been entered on our platform, we will delete their information.

FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

We hereby disclose, pursuant to the California Online Privacy Protection Act, that we DO currently honor “do not track” signals issued by browsers or other third-party sources. California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our App that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email with the subject “My California Privacy Rights” to to help@rally.win. Rally is not responsible for notices that are not labeled or sent properly, or do not have complete data. 

PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES

This Policy may be updated over time. You can check the date this Policy was most recently updated under “Last Updated” at the top of this page.  

COMMUNICATION FROM RALLY 

We may send you emails relating to your Rally account. We may also send you marketing emails and updates about Rally. Marketing and update emails will include instructions for opting out of receiving them. If you opt out of these emails, you may still receive emails about your Rally account. 

If you would like to change how we contact you  or update your personal information, you can always do that by emailing help@rally.win. You may also request that we delete personal information about you and your contacts from our records by emailing privacy@rally.win

DATA SECURITY

The security and privacy of your data is extremely important to us, and we use many different methods to protect your personal information and information about your contacts and to keep it safe. However, please note that no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. If we learn about a data security breach that may compromise your personal information or information about your contacts, we will reach out via email or other means to make you aware of the breach. 

The safety and security of your data also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password, verification code, or authentication link to access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this information confidential. We ask you not to share this information with anyone. 

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND APPLICATIONS

Rally may contain links to external websites, such as organizations linked to Campaigns on the website, or embedded content from third parties. Information that you share with third parties through these means are under the purview of those third parties’ policies. Rally is not responsible, and this Policy does not apply, for information collected by third party services, applications, or websites and you alone are responsible for reading the terms of service and privacy policy published by such third-parties. 

VOLUNTARY DISCLOSURE

You should also be aware that when personal information is voluntarily disclosed (i.e., your name, email address, etc.) in communications, forums, free-text notes, survey questions, or emails on or in conjunction with our website, that information, along with any information disclosed in your communication, can be collected and used by third parties, including, but not limited to Campaigns, that you voluntarily share your personal information with at their discretion.
